Exciting

Happy Fathers Day to all the wonderful Dad's in my life, I've been very blessed to grow up with more than one father and I wouldn't trade either of them for anything.

So, I'm super excited -- I just joined my first ever quilt along (The Great Hexagon Quilt Along!) I've been working on a hexagon quilt or granny's garden quilt I think. I found it through one of the many many quilty blogs I'm following these days and just started doing it to see how difficult it was --- well I LOVE it, very time consuming since I'm doing every hexagon by hand but I'm loving it. Here is my progress so far.....

I'm super pumped about what it will eventually become!! :o)

I also am on another venture --- I'm in the process of finding the perfect fit but so far it's turning out like this.... This is my prototype - i'm thinking of a million different uses and some modifications for gifts and possible Etsy items. If you haven't checked out Etsy you should (www.etsy.com) all homemade items and I'm obsessed. As soon as things settle down some and I have time to set up and manage it as well as create new things I totally plan to set it up!! I'll keep you posted on when.

I'm using it as a clutch right now. :o)

In other news things are busy, chaotic will school, busy with kids but things are good. I'm ready for my 5 week stats to be over, so far I'm above water and hope to stay that way. :o) I've got 17 actual class days left, and not so many till graduation and THE WEDDING!! I'm getting more excited by the day!
