50 yard dash

That is what life feels like these days, a continual 50 yard dash -- it's exhausting. lol. We just dropped our good friends the Goll's off at the airport - they are happily on their way back to Texas and warmer weather. Their visit was way to short but oh so much fun. We are truly blessed to have these two in our lives and miss them greatly, they are the kind of friends where you don't talk for a while and pick up right where you left off at without skipping a beat. It's a wonderful feeling.

In other news, I got my sewing machine back a little over a week ago & have been busy busy busy - I've completed all of my "to do" items except for 1. Plus I made some lovely "G" napkins for our friends Christmas present - which they loved. Homemade gifts are the best! :o)

There are just a few of the lovely things I've completed. Lately!!

Life is moving quickly. Mr. B is busy with his third scout in 7 days, so he's been very occupied. I've been plowing away at work -- it's still a frustrating situation. I've put it in the Lords hand and I'm committed to finishing out the year. I know the Lord is at work in this situation and I'm trusting that he has a plan.

In other news, I finally received the results from my BCBA exam -- I'm sad to report that I missed it by 10 points. I laughed when I opened my scores report and couldn't believe that I was so close. Mr. B said that it was like 2 - 4 questions that I missed and that they only passed the top 12%. I frustrated and was deeply saddened by not passing, I was so sure and felt so confident that I was going to pass. I know the Lord has a plan, I'm looking into an exam prep course to take up until the window opens up again in April and then retake it. Prayers are greatly welcomed.

Life goes on. I'm still missing Texas/family/friends & familiarity. Having friends come see us only deepened my desire to get back to the Republic. Trusting in God's timing.... we'll get back eventually!

Alright, need to finish cleaning and then doing some work!
