Today is July 1st, 2010 - I layed in bed listening to my sweet husband get ready for his day. I lazily stayed in bed till the last posisble moment before I drove him to work. He kisses me good morning and goes back to packing his lunch I grab my phone and scroll through my emails.
I've been waiting for one particular email for weeks now, one that tells me I can check the BACB portal to see the results of my BCBA exam. Well there is was, staring me down. Which is funny since I dreamed about getting my results multiple times last night, but could never tell it I passed or not.
So I come running out of the bedroom telling Mr. B that it was ready. So I pop open the computer, head to the portal, open it up and then tell him I can't look. Low and behold there is my score... bright, beaming, and waiting...
I PASSED! I'm officially a BCBA!!
For those, two people who even know this blog exists (which I'm debating on going public!) you know that this is the second time I had sat for the BCBA exam and there was a lot invested in this exam. Time, energy, money - lol.
It's nice that is has finally paid off. I'm so excited I can't even begin to put it into words. I've been waiting for this a long time. oh joy!
God is so good, so many prayers were sent up on my behalf. I am so thankful for such a graceful God. :o)
so now I'm cleaning the apartment, waiting to pick up Mr. B from work later on before going out tonight to celebrate! woohoooo! Can't wait!
