Stepping out..

Stepping out in Faith is exactly what I have been doing this week. Whew, have I been a busy girl this week. Setting up yourself as an independent consultant is not for the faint of heart. I am learning so much about insurances and the business side of things. I spent the week calling insurance companies and switching my status from agency to independent. It's been a smooth transition so far - I have a list of 4 or 5 others I have to hit on Monday, but it's coming together nicely. 


I'm officially back up and running with mofirststeps which is awesome. I'll be doing make up time with my lil kiddo this week so my first week back on the job starts out at 10 hours! Woohooo. I'm praying for the Lord to send me a few more kiddos quickly to add to my caseload. I'm much more productive when I have a schedule to keep - though I have been rocking it this past week while I've been "off" getting things set up and researching LLC information. 


Even though this is a terrifying and overwhelming experience for me, I can't describe the sense of peace I feel every time I start to second guess myself. The Lord is with me always and I am faithfully in believing that in the end this will turn out alright! :o) 


My post is being cut short, we've got tornado sirens going off like crazy around our apartment. Maybe I should head to the closet now.
