T - 3 days till I'm in the home state for Thanksgiving. Since Mr. B is having the worst possible travel schedule right now and will be in Chicago for basically the whole week we thought it would be a good opportunity for me to fly home and see the family! I'm super pumped. I get to see my family, my girls, and hopefully their sweet babies!
I'm not sure when it happened though I know God works in all things. But I have acclimated to KC. While it will never be "home" {Mr.B & I's hearts belong to TEXAS} it's become a place where I'm comfortable. God has brought some awesome people into our lives that have filled the void of loneliness. While it's still difficult sometimes to reach out when Mr. B is out of town I am becoming more comfortable in setting up play dates with friends. :o)
Plus being busy with work helps too. :o) I'm working with some awesome families and I'm very thankful for them.
I'm really really ready for Christmas! I want sparkly lights, tree's, warm drinks and most importantly snuggles on the couch with my love. The weather has been crazy here in KC, though I am very thankful for no snow yet - the constant up and down has been frustrating! The snow can stay away for all I care!! :o) Mr. B's family is coming for Christmas and then the our sweet friends the G's are coming for New Years! December can't come soon enough!! Woo.
We are blessed. Life is good. I am thankful.
