no clever title :o)

At this very moment I am jammin out to pandora internet radio (http://www.pandora.com/) - listening to my hubbykins talk to his parentals and eyeballing another craft project.

We spent the weekend mostly taking care of thing in the apartment (pictures are still not hung up - our walls are so ugly - lol.) We did venture out for random errands - including locating a Quilt shop (ONLY 5 BLOCKS up the road from our humble adobe!!!) I'm pumped. My lovely hubby encouraged me to go in and looked around - he even gave his opinion on some patterns I was checking out. He's so good to me -- I have been depressed with this move and being so far from home that has put me in a funk. However, with his gentle pushing I completed one project yesterday and finished a quilt top for another. :o) Ran out of material so I have to go buy backing this week. Being crafty really made me feel better - allowed some type of normalcy back into my life.

Hopefully here in the next few weeks I'll set up an Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/) account. I have become addicted to the handmade stuff -- it's so much better than mass produced items.

Do you love this one?! A disappearing nine patch - I've had the material forever and finally did something with it. It's my goal to use up my stash so I can go replentish with new stuff!! :o)
