soothing.

A gentle rain is falling down outside my open patio door... it's beautiful and sweet. Though I'm wondering how the lawn guys are getting anything done with the rain pouring down on them... seems kinda silly to me to do yard work in the rain but ya know what ever floats your boat. ha. 

I've had a very easy day, only had one visit scheduled for today and that wasn't until 5 pm - at 3:43 I get a text canceling my visit due to kids being sick. I dropped Mr. B off at work, came back took a nap, then did some paperwork and then vegged out the entire rest of the day. I should have been more productive - there is a long list of things I want to get accomplished but just did not have the energy today. lol. Seems I'm always tired these days. ha. 

I'm looking forward to our weekend, it'll be the first one in a while where I've got my honey to myself and nothing on the agenda. oh I already see it - sleeping late, breakfast and then who knows..... can't wait! 

Mr. B's parents came and went, it was a good visit. After 5 years of being together and only really a hand full of visits where we are all together we are still learning how we all fit together. Blending families is a tricky business, we'll get there, one step at a time! :o)

So I had a dream last night that I wrote a childrens book... even had one of my very talented cousins illustrate it. It was amazing, so today I've been toying with different ideas. We'll see what happens.... I'm obviously not a good writer - I don't can't spell and could care less about grammar and run on sentences (Aren't you a lucky reader?! lol) hmmm, interesting to say the least... funny thing is that Mr. B told me yesterday I should write. ha. silly man. 


speaking of Mr. B, I probably should go pick him up from work. :o)
