Day 1

A few of the blogs that I stalk follow have been doing a 30 day blogging challenge. Each day they blog on a different topic for 30 days with pictures. I thought it might be fun to join in since I've been in a blogging funk.  Maybe this 30 day stint will help get the creative juices flowing again! 

So without further ado here is Day 1 of my 30 day challenge!!

This was taken on our 1 year wedding anniversary back in August 2010. I seriously think its one of the most recent pictures we have! Oops. Been a little busy to take updated pictures!

15 fun or interesting facts about sweet lil oh me! In countdown format!

15. I have a servants heart, it's definitely one of my top love languages. I love helping others in any way possible.

14. I believe in Jesus, and that he was sent to die for our sins and I try to live a life that glorifies and edifies him daily.

13. I love (might be slightly obsessed with)Vera Bradley bags, I'm a collector - I love the bright happy patterns!

12. I love & adore my family and friends. I hate that we live so far from them now but I'm thankful for the few sweet friends I have here in KC. Skype is the best thing ever.

11. I LOVE TEXAS! Mr. B & I pray daily to return to the republic one day soon, we are Texas loving junkies!! 

10. Quilting, crafting, scrapbooking make my heart happy - I love creating things that will last for ages! My current obsession is purging through my current stash before I can buy new material. I'm down to two boxes from 4!! Progress!

9. I've watched all 10 seasons of Friends at least 2543897979897879879 times. I can quote it line by line. I've also watched Bones and Burn notice just as many times. I like that I know what's going to happen and that I can put it on and do other things.

8. I work with the most amazing kids in the world - autism (& special needs kiddos) have a special place in my heart - I'm thankful to God for giving me such a sweet calling in this life.

7. My husband is my bestest friend in all the world,  I didn't know what "love" truly was until I met him. Who else would love my dorky dorky self.

6. I can't spell or form a grammatically correct sentence.... and it doesn't bother me one bit.

5. I'm allergic to tequila. Discovered this after the third massive migraine I developed after a margarita night with friends! 

4. I eat candy "worst to best", and I have seasonal preferences.  Fall - candy corn; Winter - Giradelli peppermint bark; Valentines-ish - sweettart hearts and conversation hearts; Easter - cadberry eggs; summer - jelly belly jelly beans! Yummmmo!

3. Baylor Bear for life! Sic 'Em. God taught me more lessons about my self during my Baylor years - Also met my sweet Mr. B while there!

2. I have not and have no desire to read the twilight series books, I don't do scary stuff. {The last Pirates of the Caribbean movie gave me nightmares! lol) 

1. I have turned into such a home body - nothing makes me happier then spending a weekend snuggled up to Mr. B watching movies, playing games or crafting! Such a difference from my younger days. :o) lol.
