another day in paradise

Just another day in paradise (i.e. KC) - this is a tough week. We are putting on a conference at work and like usual my boss has waited till the last minute to put things together, changing up who will present and who will not. Ugh, I hate being pulled around - first I was told I was not going to have to present and then I was told that I was going to have to present.

Presenting is not my favorite thing in the world, I hate speaking in front of people. Unfortunately I have to speak at our conference and then I've been selected to speak at our local parent group meeting on play skills. So two major presentations of my professional career on the same night and I'm beside my self with nerves. My prayers will be long and deep as I prepare for these presentations, I pray for Boldness and for strength to slow down speak audibly and project the confidence I know I have. :o/

In other news, I've been baking up a storm (lots of muffins, breads, squash casserole and such). Mr. B and I are doing wonderfully - I'm so thankful to have him. He's been such a comfort as I've struggled with my job.
