Winter Wonderland

It's snowing. The first real snowstorm all winter. It's beautiful and it gave me a day off of work which is lovely (and secretly I'm hoping for another snow day as well) but I hope that once it stops snowing it melts. I hate driving in this stuff and since I'm doing in home therapy all over the metro (a lot of area's that don't get plowed because they are neighborhoods) I hope it goes away quickly.

Mr. B and I are doing well - we are both very busy with work. They have 13 games left in the season before conference play begins. Right now we are ranked 6th out of 9 I believe. We're doing alright - looking forward to the season being completed, we have not seen each other much these days which is sad.

My position as the associate director of in home services has been an interesting one. Not completely what I expected, the cons that I evaluated before taking this job are definitely creeping up and are more of an issue that previously expected. I'm hanging in though, God opened up this door and I'm going to do the best job I can.

We are still praying for God to move us closer to home, we are thankful for our job here in KC and for his provisions. We'll stay as long as he deems it appropriate for us to be here but being close to family would definitely be a blessing.

All of our guests have come and gone - my parents for Thanksgiving, In laws for Christmas, Goll's for New Years. It was nice having people we love come and visit with us. Seems we always pack them into a few weeks - maybe the year would go faster if we spread them out some. lol. We loved it though. It's always wonderful to be surrounded by familiar faces.

My hope is to post more often then I have been. I tend to forget my password a lot - lol. But I wrote it down now so we'll be good to go. I'd eventually like this to turn into a great place for family and friends to catch up on what's going on with us and a place for me to post my crafty stuff. :o)

Many blessings to you in the new year.
